Quote from the Teacher:

Overview: After reading various philosophers' works relevant to the philosophical rationale for giving, students write a statement of beliefs that guide their own giving. They develop a set of criteria to use for evaluating charities, research and choose a cause to support, and write business letters to accompany their Giving Certificates. An assignment of reflection caps this lesson.
